Colors of Fall

Fall provides the perfect backdrop as trees, flowers, and foliage burst with color; cool, crisp air encourages cosy moments; and the golden sunlight provides a unique, golden look in photos.
Fall is one of the most romantic times of the year and forever a favorite of mine. The feeling of falling in love or being in love seems so elevated with the cozy feeling your tummy gets this time of year. Or is that just me?? Anyways… Brittney + DJ are my best friends and getting to photograph their love during my favorite time of year was such a blessing.

When I asked Brittney and DJ to give me some words that they feel emulates their love, here are some that I got… Unwavering and unconditional, healing, nurturing, supportive, faithful, sentimental, devoted, hilarious, honest, warm and so much more. If you know these two you know that they have the kind of love that the people around them look up too. I know I did, and still do. I can only hope I captured a fraction of that in their photos.

One of my favorite session to date, during my favorite time of year, documenting their warm cozy love and I couldn’t ask for much more. I love my job and the love it allows me to witness.
